David M. Thomas

David Thomas is the Organist and Choirmaster of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Greenwich. He has held positions throughout Fairfield County Connecticut as well as Montana and Colorado. David is a noted organ teacher in the Fairfield County area.

David has performed a number of large works with the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra New England. He has arranged over fifty works for choirs including creating a commercial CD of some of these compositions.

He received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Montana, his Master of Music from the University of Colorado, with post-graduate studies at the University of Denver. David studied improvisation with Antonín Schindler at the Cathedral of Saint Maurice, Olomouc, and conducting with František Preissler at the Divadlo Oldřicha Stibora, Olomouc, in Czechoslovakia.
